Sanctuary of the Hopeful Sun: YoCo

York Central Co-Owned (YoCo) is a project which will create a community-led development of affordable homes and workplaces as a small part of the redevelopment of the York Central site being carried out by Homes England, its partners and master developer. Born out of a wish for local people to have an active part role in addressing housing affordability, local wealth creation and responding to York’s massive problem with inequality 

They will be using an imaginative conversation process to ask what is a good neighbourhood. Asking what would make a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood on York Central – or indeed anywhere else.
