Sanctuary of the Hopeful Sun: YorSpace - The people's property: dreaming up community ownership

Join YorSpace for a family-friendly, playful exploration of how we live, own, and shape our city. Through creative activities - including a visit to your very own community estate agent - you’ll experience the challenges of the current property system, then dream up your ideal community-owned pub, green space, home or high street. Together we’ll imagine what York could be like if land and property were owned for people, not profit. 

The sessions will be a rolling drop-in, with some times available to focus on one of our four key topics - check-in with us on the day if you're interested in a specific type of conversation!  

All are welcome for this relaxed, open conversation. We hope to bring hope for the future and inspire ideas as part of YorSpace’s search for its next bold project - and your ideas could truly inspire our future!
