Staying Sane in an overwhelming world - what’s the good news?
In a time marked by mounting injustice, political instability, and daily headlines that weigh heavy, it can feel almost impossible to stay present-let alone hopeful.
As systems of harm continue to accelerate, it’s easy to slip into numbness, despair, or disengagement. But what if our emotional responses weren’t weaknesses to overcome, but signals guiding us toward what really matters?
This conversation will hold space for honesty about the scale of what we’re facing, while also asking how we stay connected to what gives us life. How do we discern what news to carry, and what to gently lay down? What role does beauty, joy, and collective action play in helping us resist the pull of hopelessness? And how might we learn to notice the signs of change already unfolding around us?
